Back in November at Distributed ‘22, Miro’s annual virtual conference, we teased the beta of our new presentation mode to an excited (virtual) crowd. Now, we’re excited to release it to all our users! But what is Interactive Presentation Mode and how did we build it? Keep reading to learn more.
2023 continues to be a big year for Miro, with more on the way! We kicked off this year strong by launching Miro in four new languages—Spanish, German, French, and Japanese—making it easier for you to collaborate with your global teams. We’ve also doubled down on improving agile practices to support the 86% of product development teams that use agile in their day to day.
I’m hard-pressed to think of another period in my 20-plus-year career when future readiness was a higher, more urgent priority for enterprise leadership than it is today. A multitude of disruptive forces—ranging from experimenting with generative AI to prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and programs to implementing hybrid strategies—are coming to a head, and we can truly only speculate about what the world of work might look like a decade from now.
Miro is all about unlocking and harnessing peak creativity. That doesn’t just apply to what teams can create with Miro — but also how they use Miro in the first place. We’ve quickly learned that no two teams use Miro exactly the same way, and their most-loved features are as unique as the work they’re doing. To better understand which features teams are using again and again, we turned to members of our Enterprise Advocates program.
After connecting with Miro learners in live trainings and reading feedback on our courses, we’ve learned a lot in the past year. There are so many adjectives you want your team to be. Innovative. Creative. Energetic. Enthusiastic. Supportive. Collaborative. Bold. But getting there? Reflecting on a year of collaborating, creating, and innovating together in an increasingly digitized and distributed world of work. 2022 was a big year for Miro — for our product, our teams, and our users. We started the year strong with an amazing community of 30 million users and our Series C funding, and that was only the beginning. By December’s end, Miro had scaled to 1,800 employees across 12 global hubs and grown to 45+ million users and counting.
