From Idea to Evidence: Validating Innovation at AI Speed
Most teams can generate ideas all day. The hard part is knowing which ones are actually worth building.
In this session of Reframe, Miro's webinar series for consultants and agencies rethinking client work in the age of AI, Todd Reily (Founder, RightThing.io) shows what AI-native innovation actually looks like in practice — live, on a Miro board, working through a real product case study from idea to validated evidence.
Todd walks through his three-part approach to innovation: find the right problem, generate breakthrough ideas, and validate at speed, scale, and depth. That last part gets a live demo — using a custom AI agent to draft a "Right Thing" outcome statement, expand it into strategies and tactics, stress-test the underlying beliefs in a "Belief Session," and then run an AI-simulated concept test that talks to real people and comes back with real preference data.
In this episode:
- The three-part framework: right problem, breakthrough ideas, validation at speed, scale, and depth
- A live look at an AI agent that expands strategies, fills in tactics, and riffs on ideas inside Miro
- The Belief Session: testing hypotheses as true/false/neutral instead of debating opinions
- Building a virtual researcher to test concepts with real people, at a scale no single team could manage alone
- Why "ideas are not enough," and messy, in-progress work is part of getting to evidence
